The World of Mir- I need feedback

Thanks for the feedback guys and Piratecat if you could me this to house rules I be very grateful. So does anyone think that having revolvers and repeating rifles ruins the D&D flavor? Or if this has too much of a star wars feel.

Change the name of the emperor and his protege. Your players are going to hear those names and immediately think 'Star Wars'. It's fine to lift ideas from other sources, but modify them somewhat first. You don't want your players saying things like "Let's go to that kingdom ruled by Darth Vader and the Emperor". You want your game world to have its own personality and flavour, not be a clone of something else - it's less enjoyable and memorable for you and your players that way.

the names may be derivitative and the similarities to the Empire from Star Wars may be shockingly obvious, but it's a home game so who cares. depending on your players, it will be silly fun, or a bunch of *groan* "if we're fighting stormtroopers and darth vader, are luke and han going to show up and save the day?"

The Star Wars films are my favorite movies I couldn't possibly make a D&D world with out having aspects of Star Wars I also thinking of makinga third main villan Tharn Rivel a level 12 psychic warrior with a sword-staff. He'd be a Demorian. Think zabrak but with less horns.
