Although sadly missing from the online gallery, I'm a fan of most of Magic of Faerun's art.

I definitely prefer color images. Don't mind a humorous graphic thrown in here or there, but I like the art to reflect the tone of the text. "Technical drawing" images are hit or miss.

I really, really dig the Joystealer's illustration from MM4

Pretty much anything by Todd Lockwood, Sam Wood and Wayne A Reynolds is outstanding; I also enjoy a lot of the work by Wayne England and Raven Mimura.

Colour or B&W is ok for for me. I still think we rarely see anything better than the B&W art by Arnie Swekel and Glen Angus from 2E's final years. I would love to see more from those two.

The thing that I am happiest about with the art in the past few books is that we're no longer seeing anything by Dennis Crabapple/Cramer/McClain.

Hi,

I like a lot of the art, but Wayne England's style is different and refreshing. The Art Galleries are a great resource though -- I make monster counters from the images when I don't have a suitable mini and use them to illustrate player handouts.

Cheers

Richard
