The WotC Polls

I think I'm succumbing to the OCD side of my nature.

I read the title and thought ... COOL -- a poll about polls. A MetaPoll!

And I literally HAD to respond.

I suspect people are right when they say that the polls are basically meaningless...

But that raises the question of why do them then? If they're there as a marketing tool of some sort, why not try to make the meaningful. THen at least the data you got out of them could be somewhat useful.

If WOTC/Hasbro is anything like my wife's workplace...because some exec heard at retreat in the Bahamas that customers like to give feedback, even if you don't use it....then he came back and ordered everybody to put a poll on every article.

Just a possibility.
