Gotta say that I was entertained for a while. The collecting things aspect isn't bad and the volleyball can get pretty easy. I wish there were hidden extras like more locales on the island and the like. The casino is somewhat barren and while diverting for a time, nothing special. The game is shameless with what it flaunts but it's no worse than what the videogame/comic-book/movie industry has been doing for years. Would I want a younger sibling/son/daughter/younger cousin playing this? No, but it's rated M for a reason. I think the game has its strong points and it also doesn't sound all that dissimilar to the "dating" games that have been popular in Japan for years (not that I've played any of them beyond seeing a video review, etc.). If there was a little more to do, I would have to say the game was quite good, but as it stands now, I'll have to stick with interestingly above average.
