They hybrid Roll N' Buy ability score generation method

I was a bit skeptical too until I actually rolled up a few characters myself. It works out really well and I like it. All it requires is a fair GM who can admit when people are overpowered or screwed, and fair players who won't complain if one person got a tiny bit of an advantage over them or if they're stuck with 3 14's instead of 2 16's and a 10

I also found that for 32pt buy 4d6 drop lowest works better then 3d6. Better chance for good rolls in characters and less chance of 4's.

To add to my previous post one time we rolled up a test party of characters and one was a 47pt Monk. Well, with adjusting the stats and adding he still had a 10 constitution. We decided that the fact that he had 10 con and that lots of his extra points were tied up into a 15 int and a 15 cha the character would still have been balanced. It all depends on how fair people are. Will it all be equal? No, there will be minor discrepancies like a fighter who "wastes" points on having a 13 charisma, but that's the beauty of the system.
