Things the Report button is NOT for

Most of what I report falls under the broad category of 'this looks like it is about to culminate in a fight' -- not necessarily be the instigation, but the point where things look to start spiraling out of control. I feel that's when myself commenting instead of (or in supplement to) reporting is most likely less helpful. Hopefully this is the right time to do so, feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

No, that's fine. Trying to find a single point of instigation is often difficult - people kind of slide into it over the course of several interchanges.

U know ... the report button obviously isn't for reporting site rules violations like:
"keep it civil, keep it clean, and keep it on topic and keep it inclusive"

I get red-text everywhere I post, even on threads I create - meanwhile other people can post whatever kinda comments they want on EnWorld.org. It's the same elitist clique on all these sites: RPG.Net, RPG Pub, here - only certain people can have a dissenting opinion and heaven forbid I post something that hurts a mod's feelings. It's overt censorship. And that's fine. It's your site and you can censor and harass whoever you like, right?

Except me. Rather than wait for the upcoming ban, like Big Purp and the other BS sites, I'll just naughty word off.
