Third level, two people adventure ideas PWESE!

So, my girlfriend and her brother are way aching for some DnD. I, as usual, have my full pallet of gaming (running a campaign, playing in a very intensive campaign), but I love my girlfriend and wanna give her brother some DnD, so - I've agreed to run something for them in the next few days.

They're eaching playing third level characters. Her bruvver is playing a Male Elven Sorcerer 3, and I'm pretty sure she'll play a Female Half-Elf Bard 3.

It's gonna be set in my homebrew world of Eldram, so I can flesh out pretty much anything. I just need generic ideas. Presently, I'm thinking of starting the adventure with a short prologue, and having them start play as prisoners of a goblinoid army.

Pwese help?! :D

Thanks in advance.

Beware of their complete or near complete lack of healing ability. Starting in a cell is rough w/o the ability to heal, especially considering both will have few hps based on class & race. Healing potions should abound or give them a wand of cure light early on in the game (it's on the bard list, so she can use it.)

Are you going to start them with or without their equipment? If without, don't make it too terribly difficult to retreive?

Good luck. It sounds like a tough one, but I bet it would be fun to play out.

Here's a little extra background on said goblinoid army, since I'm tying this adventure into my usual campaign (story hour below!)

The army numbers a scant 610 - 400 goblins, 10 goblin shamans, and 200 hobgoblins. They're camped in the woods surrounding Deal, and as of yet, have escaped notice by both the All-Favors Mercenary Company and all Imperial presences. They're all rather well trained, quite organized (for goblinoids), and employ a few strange tactics.

1. The druids have managed to train and dominate several Dire Weasels (stop giggling!). Certain goblins are mounted on these, and trained in mounted combat.

2. Several cockatrices have been captured, and caged. When the first attack occurs on Deal, these rather weak cages will be tossed and shatter, letting the cockatrices loose upon the Dealian defenders.

Hopefully this'll help churn up some ideas. :D
