Third Party D&D Settings

I'll have to go with Iron Kingdoms, although Freeport comes in a close second. When I get around to running my IK campaign, I definitely plan on putting Freeport in there somewhere.

Support someone else's campaign world?

**shrug** Maybe Monte's AU, but I like the rulebook much better than the world itself. Possibly Iron Kingdom, but again this is probably more interest in the rules than anything else.

In the end I'd rather support good general supplements, rather than supplements aimed at supporting a particular world.

Scarred Lands, mostly because it has heaps and heaps of flavor... you just have to be wary of game balance as a DM (I'm looking at you Relics&Rituals I+II).

Freeport, had a great couple of sessions playing this under another DM. Shame he moved away cause we never had a chance to play it since.

Since I have to choose though, I'll take Scarred Lands (but that's probably the DM inside me threatening me with a hot poker :p).

If I absolutely had to pick one, then Scarred Lands. My interest is starting to wane though. Maybe because I read that book of short stories set in the Scarred Lands that were all so terribly mediocre and uninspiring.

Iron Kingdoms is what I wanted eberron to be. The one or two ideas I liked from eberron (which I altered a bit), I stuck into my IK campaign.
