Decides that Remathilis may have a point, and with 700+ posts Silver Moon should think about getting an avatar too. Wonders if anyone has a good illustration of a Gibberling Paladin that could be used? Decides to ask ENWorld for suggestions, but will do so over on the Meta board so as not to change the topic.

Restates Baranedur's original position. Gives a lengthy history of the rule, starting back with the historical strategy games played in the 1960's and 70's, to original D&D, 1st Edition D&D, including obscure quotes from early letters to Dragon Magazine, to 2nd Edition with quotes stated by TSR Exec's, to 3rd Edition with quotes from WoC Executives, and finishing with an explanation of how it will work with 8th Edition, with quotes from people who have not been born yet.

Asks what flavor Coca-Cola should introduce next?

States that Teletubbies RPG would be pure evil, and that it could not be done as D20 as most watchers of that show cannot count to 20.

Enters thread with an ominous feeling of déjà vu. Informs everyone that clearly Baraendur is correct in everything, except in what he has so far posted. Notices the apparent conflict of what he just wrote, but decides to leave it as is. Hell Cow was clearly the epitome of ultimate wisdom and Teletubbies have no place in a rules discussion, unless they agree to behave nicely. Personally I would want Coca Cola to introduce the marshmallow flavor as their next product. Anyone who uses Google to support their statements are stupid and have no imagination. Supports this statement with a Googlism. And the only way the rules can be balanced is on top of a horse in a wind tunnel inside a mesa in Mexico after a snowstorm with ice cream.

Leaves lurker mode to express that the kind of broken game mechanic being occasionally discussed in this thread are not found in RPG brand "X" and what else do you expect from Dungeons and Dragons, being the munchkin-inducing, "roll-playing" drek that it is.

Express that this is all in my humble opinion, of course, and that I don't mean to offend anyone who happens to like drek, to each their own, live and let live, and all that.

Note that Baraendur's problem may be that he sounds too much like Picard and not enough like Kirk. Post 101 (misnumbered and miscounted) reasons why Kirk is so much better.

Also notes that Gibberlings are the most pathetic creatures ever. Starts new thread for HoGs (Haters of Gibberlings).

Jumps in with comments proving that this poster has not read anything past the initial post. Makes general comments covered at least three times previously.

Checks back every twenty minutes to see what others have said about his valuable insight. Is sorely disappointed to see none.

Never rereads the initial post to realize he has completely misundertood its contents.

It's much safer here, this arguement is more logical than that one.

Notes Hong sighting, tantrum clearly was not one of his best, gibberlings still run and hide in fear.

Note that Pecard/Kirk/Baraendur connection may be off as he took more offense to real world dictators than to Star Trek villians.

Notices that jdavis hasn't been assigned anything yet, so gives him the assignment of Gibberling section in Volume III relating to all D20 spy-type games. Suggests "The name is Gibberling, James Gibberling" as the chapter title.

Realizes that I'm in major trouble because I spent time goggle searching for odd smiley faces instead of actuallly finding out what is going on in this thread. Vow to pay more attnetion to topic at hand and stop running off on tangents.

Immediatly run off on Matrix Reloaded tangent.
