Decides to add a High Priest from the Church of Tallarn into current campaign. Concludes religion must be some type of military theocracy, as Tallarn has declared himself to be Moderator General over in Randlomling's House. Questions what alignment the great Tallarn is, and what he is the god of?

Arrogantly tells Silver Moon that his portfolios and alignment are not to be questioned by lesser mortals, that military theocracies are always a good idea (using Dune as proof) and that whilst I do not personally have any Gibberling Paladins or Blackguards serving me, I could if I wanted to.

Quotes the Star Trek song, mentions that he actually knows of an official convention dance to said song, which mostly consists of quite dangerous moves. Some are dangerous to participants, some to observers. Makes obscure reference to Daleks.

Casually drops in that TARDIS stands for Time And Relative Dimensions In Space, earns geek point.

Suggests Remathilis go Paladin, since the 3.5e revision will make him that much more powerful than before. Plus, he can claim reading Piratecats story hour is research.

Completely fails to mention anything to do with the topic.

Edits post to metion that Seonaid's avatar is getting distracting, and that Airwolf is needed in this thread soon lest we all degenerate into drool.

Notices that nobody has commented about the bogus history of the rule in question from my prior post. Berates all posters for getting off topic, especially Baraendur! Tells Baraendur that, unlike his prior thread, he is correct with this one and should stick with the facts.
What rule were we talking about again?

Cites original rule in question, with quotations from Dragon Magazine published just as 3E was coming out, as an example of this being a foundational cornerstone of the edition and therefore should not be questioned.
Oh thanks I forgot. Wasn't that just supposed to be a guideline and not a rule? If people would stop using dice in their games then these rule things would not be as big of problems, therefore it's the dice fault. It's time to change "D20" to "Dmagination" and just make up the dice roles.

Tells jdavis that the first draft of the Gibberlings Secret Agent chapter is due on Thursday, June 5th. Decides to assign all D20 games not already assigned to PirateCat, as he has copies of every game ever published.
If by draft you mean funny picture off goggle search then, I'm on it, if you want actual written work then I really need to figure out the heck we are talking about here, or I could just wing it  and rely on my superior talents (in other word your getting a chapter on "Hell Cows".

A friend of mine built a lifesized one out of plywood, he also built a lifesize Robot from Lost in Space. Realize this doesn't win me any personal geek points but what the heck.

Congratulates Seonaid on all the avatar attention she is getting> Points out that I am really a container of French Fries with super powers myself. (Genetic mutation from when Baraendur went super nova.)

Professes life-long love for French fries. Wonders if it would cross over to genetic mutations with super powers.

Links to her site on Gibberling historians. It is entirely in blank verse, with the exception of the 2371st line, which is inexplicably trochaic heptameter.

Makes another on-topic statement and finishes with a comment about how Picard was a far better captain than Kirk.

Posts that it is now very clear that Baraendur is not taking his medication. Claims that Picard's chatting-over-tea-and-crumpets style does not a starship captain make. Tries to steer this back on topic by saying that Kirk would disagree with Baraendur's original post.

Also mentions his disbelief over the attention to Seonaid's avatar, noting that is is just a drawing. Also mentions that if she really resembled that drawing he would be asking where to send the flowers. Ties this in to the first paragraph by noting that Kirk would approve of Seonaid's avatar.

Quotes Starman, primarily as an excuse to bump this thread back to the first page. States that if Kirk were to actually disagree with Baraendru's post he wouldn't say so, he'd just blast it to hell and run off with a girl who looks like Seonaid, but with green skin. Asks Starman which of the various D.C. comics characters who had that name was his favorite?

On the subject of Seonaid, points out that most people on the Internet who claim to be attractive young girls are either 60-year old male perverts, immature 13-year old boys, or cops trying to catch someone. Is IN NO WAY saying that any of these descriptions actually apply to Seonaid, but is just telling Starman and others not to base expectations on the avatar.

Attempts to bring thread back on topic by quoting several of the original posts, back when people actually remembered what the topic was. Attempts to add new point supporting the rule with quote from the DMG, page 9, from the section on Adjudicating. Furthermore, states that rule is referenced in the module "The Swarm" by Tito Leati, from Dungeon Magazine #92. Has no idea if it really is, having just picked that module at random, but thinks that nobody will go to the effort of checking.

Raises side tangent about the television show "Murder she Wrote" and asks why anyone in their right mind would ever attend a function where the main character was scheduled to attend, as somebody always winds up dead.

Tells jdavis that the phrase "French Fries" is no longer politically correct, but not to respond as the thread could turn political and be closed. Adds to the "Hellcow" obsession by also bringing up the Howard the Duck nemesis known as The Kidney Lady.

Attaches picture from the early 1980's television show "Eight is Enough".

Realizes that the "Submit Reply" key was almost struck without any mention of the Gibberlings Projects. Assigns KidCthulhu the tasks of writing the D20 Call of Cthulhu section for Volume 2. Also mentions that Volume 1 needs a "List of Good Gibberling Paladin Names", and asks for suggestions.

Edits typo, claims edit was to expand on the quote from the DMG.

Nothing really to add but POST 1400:D :D :D :D

Figured I might as well post it here where it actually means something

Decries jdavis for not only posting off topic, but posting merely to boost his postcount and announce his arrival at 1400 posts.

Talks longwindedly about how he remembers when he had 1400 posts, and that when it was so, you only needed 25 cents and a sandwich to get community supporter status. Also mentions that he remembers when this was all fields.

Verbally abuses Silver Moon for dispelling our illusions about Seonaid, fervently hopes she doesn't change her avatar as a result of this thread, resigns from the Gibberling Project in protest. Is quietly glad that he resigned just before the deadline, as he hadn't done any work on his assigned sections.

Refuses to accept Tallarn's resignation. Gives an inspirational lecture about how it is important to live up to one's obligations. Extends deadline by an extra week.

Tell Baranedur that he is also brave and inspirational, starting out this thread. Explains how the world today would be a better place if everyone took the rule in question and applied it to their everyday lives.

While in a congratulatory mood, Thanks the Academy, the Nobel Prize Slection Committee, the Seventh Grade Class, the creators of the Godzilla movies, and everyone in the world who was born on June 23rd.

Attempts to bring up the side topic from prior thread about the New York Rangers, Walker Texas Rangers, the Ford Ranger, and Ranger Rick's Nature Club. Comments how all work better under 3.5E than any prior editions.

Is confounded that anyone would like the way Ranger Rick's
Nature Club was nerfed in 3.5E and makes several elaborate
and very personal insults in Jiddish, only to realize that I don't
know any Jiddish. A jewish friend happens to walk by who lends
a hand in creating said insults (but which in reality read 'I love
Ranger Rick's Nature Club'). Every Jiddish speaking person then
proceeds to make fun of me.
