You must be held responsible for your behavior. By not decrying the aforementioned game mechanic you are clearly saying that you are in full support of WOTC on this matter. What's more it leads me to believe that the contrary positions taken by 3E & 3.5E and the soon to be announce WoTC2004E for home users are a direct result of your apathy!!! Woe to you and your offspring.

I suggest that the designers were under the influence of intoxicants when creating this game mechanic, and furthermore suggest that DM's that allow their players to use it have no concept of game balance.

Point out the long history (2000+ words) about how intoxicants have had a positive effect on creativity, citing several Leonardo Di Vinci, Shakespeare, Hemmingway and the Beatles.

In reference to the question of game balance, Launch into lengthy discsussion (1500+ words) regarding weights and measures, and the use of various mechanical scales to determine true balance. Head into side discussion regarding the Earth's magnetic field, and stating how a scale showing perfect balance between two magnetic objects would actually be slightly off due to magnetic pull, unless this was done at the magnetic north pole.

Makes no reference to the original rule in question, as quoting the original post appears to be sufficient.

Provides Tallarn with the full lyrics from the Prince song "La la la means I love U", so that he does not have to repeat himself after the third la.

Tells jdavis that the Gibberlings Project is not in a shambles, and that all sections have been received except for those from him and Tallarn. Extend deadline for both of them by another week.

Criticizes Baradtgnome for bringing up "I Dream of Jeannie", pointing out the various flaws of the Dr. Bellows character. States that the "Andy Griffith Show" serves as a much better example of an authority figure.

Attaches picture from the film "Tora, Tora, Tora".

Criticizes Silver Moon on bringing up Shakespeare as that will inevitably lead to further discusses of monkeys & the affects of intoxicants on their ability to reproduce his works.

Posts link to alt-Gibberling character class without so much as a reason why

Posts link to priceline.com sale of green alien slave women; now isn't that a coincidence?

Post my long awaited section of the project:

The Gibberling Manifesto

12000 words long, (one paragraph, four sentences, 6000 commas used.) It references Gibberlings exactly 7 times but references Baraendur being wrong 27 times. Every major Star Trek character from the last 30 years is mentioned except Pecard. Ends with a stunning discourse on the evils of technology in a fictional futuristic setting.

3 references:
The Crutchfield Catalog
The Brady Bunch movie picture book
AnimeNation website

Include a picture of Chuck Norris driving a Ford Ranger pulling a Ranger Rick Nature Education trailer.

Upset the JDavis's book does not mention dual-wielding gibberling paladins, Dr. Who, or Seonaid's Avatar. Mocks the writing, making sure his own book has twice as many commas in half as many words.

Believes Baraendur was right all along.

Agree that not mentioning Seonaid's avatar was a mistake, edit Manifesto to have the statement "Nice Avatar, Seonaid" in the middle of it.

Duel-wielding Dr Who Paladins who happen to be gibberlings was sombody elses chapter.

Causes rejoicing in the house of the Silver Moon by unexpectedly writing a 1500 word post on superhero Gibberlings, including rip-offs of all the major Marvel and DC Heroes and villains, including the Martian Gibberlinghunter, the BatGibberling, SuperGibberling, Wonder Gibberlingess, Gibberling X, Gibberleto (Master of Magnestism) and Bob, who is merely indestructible without having any futher powers, or indeed point.

References Dr Who, attaches picture of British sit-com "The Brittas Empire".

Blatantly informs Tallarn that he missed the whole point of Bob, the whole point of Bob being that he is Bob. Bob being Bob is what makes Bob so indestructible. If Bob werent' Bob, then Bob wouldnt' have a point, since he would no longer be Bob, or indeed Bob. Did you know that Bob happens to like the music of Dylan, Bob that is. Quotes a Dylan song, you know, Bob.

Thanks both jdavis and Tallarn for their submissions to the Gibberlings Project. Informs Tallarn that a top law firm will look into the possible copyright violations in regard to the superhero character names. Suggests possibly changing them to Luke Gibberlingwalker, Darth Gibberling and Gibberling-3PO, names that are sure to be free of similarities to anything else. Corrects jdavis with one of his references, it was not The Brady Bunch Movie Picture Book but rather Growing up Brady by Barry Williams that the quotes are from. States that it was an easy mistake to make, as Williams had a cameo in the film, so will not be counted against jdavis in the list of life's mistakes.

Regarding original topic, points out how the rule in question has implications with other D20 systems. Gives examples citing six low-print run, now-defunct D20 systems that nobody plays, and nobody except PirateCat has probably even heard of.

Begins new side tangent on the film career of Sean Connery, stating that "Highlander II", "Never say never again", and "The Spice Girls Movie" were clearly his three best film performances.

Asks a question about the 5th level Sor/Wiz spell "Prying Eyes" and the actual mechanics of controlling the various eyes. Cites a few sentences from PHB pages 240-241 regarding spell. Has actually never used the spell, and has no characters of the appropriate level to do so, having just picked it at random from the book.

Asks the rhetorical question of "What do Wizards of the Coast, Wal*Mart, Verizon, Disney and Microsoft have in common?"

States that in 3.5E the Ford Ranger would have only one feat at 5th level, but that the standard 3.0 version would have two. Gives example using the Mr. Ranger character from the Yogi Bear Show, demonstating how the lack of the other feat would get him killed and allow Yogi to get all of the picnic baskets.

Conclues that enough trouble has now been caused by this post, and it is safe to now depart.

Attaches picture from the film "Saturn 3".

It's been three days, why hasn't the project been finished (I blame Baraendur ). I guess now is a bad time to ask if I am getting paid for this? :p
