Calling on all who are good at finding stuff online!

This is the weirdest request I have ever made...

I know of a woman (she frequents the Disneyworld vacation planning site I do) who is desperately looking for a stuffed animal of "Angel" , one of the dogs from "Lady & the Tramp 2". This is all that her daughter wants for Christmas. I (and many others) have tried to help by searching on & offline for one. They were sold at the Disney Store for about a month when the straight to video sequel came out.

I have pretty much given up. All my web searches lead me nowhere. The only toy of Angel I have found is a McDonalds toy. That is not the one I'm looking for. I've tried Ebay, yahoo , metacrawler, google, ask.com, everything.

Does anyone have any suggestions, know of a better way to search online, have an Angel they are willing to sell, or anything? I figured I'd ask you guys here since I've yet to see a request for anything to be found online go unfulfilled. Of course, I think this is the first time I've ever not been able to find something online for sale that I was looking for.

I don't know why but I really want to help this woman find this stuffed animal for her little girl.

Anyone?

As penance for my dumb joke in the other thread, I looked at 165 entries for "Angel Plush" on ebay, thinking people maybe had a poor description of the varmint. Have pity on my soul, people: that was not a fun experience.

I did, however, come across this gem.

The closest I could find to what you're looking for is this hideous specimen. Never having seen the movie, I don't know what the dog looks like; I hope for your friend's sake it's not like this.

Assuming the absence of such a thing, you may want to suggest to your e-aquaintence to commission one from a toymaker who does such things.

However, seeing as it is Dec 9, she might be out of luck. Very sorry.

Thanks all.

BiggusGeekus - do you know of anyone who does this? It's worth a shot and I know this woman will pay pretty much anything to make her daughters Christmas.

I have no earthly idea. However, give me a sock and a magic marker and I'll give it a go.

The trick, to my mind, is to get someone good that can produce something that is a close facsimilie. I've no doubt you can find some crafts-fair person who can whip something up, but you'll probably wind up with something between "real nice" and "BG's sock puppet".

Best of luck.

This is a longshot, but you might want to try on sluggy.com or sluggy.net to find someone to make it.

Perhaps the person who makes the Bun-Bun and Kiki plushes, though she might be full up with christmas orders for those dolls.
