I received said game magazine in the mail yesterday. Apparently Sparrowhawk wasn't aware the infogrames was developing a D&D console game by the name of 'Dungeons & Dragons Heroes' (those of you who purchased NWN will notice the ad for it on the back of the manual). The item in question is a sidebar with two pictures and brief write-up that mostly points out that you can only play four character classes (rouge, fighter, cleric and wizard) and can use 3E rules, with feats and spells and so forth.

There is also a large two-page add on page 6 for a Game Boy Advance version of 'Eye of the Beholder', also from Infrogrames, adhering to the same character development restrictions.

As for page 33, that's just a joke, I'm assuming...although that is the second page of the 'Devil May Cry 2' preview article, which looks outstanding....but that's neither here nor there. :D

In a perfect world, I would have the power to travel through computers and phone lines like Automan. I would use this power to burst out of Sparrowhawk's computer and shake him soundly until he comes clean on this Game Informer foolishness.

Well, I gotta admit, I was pretty suprised to see a thread this long with absolutely no content. Had to stop the madness and all that, eh wot? :)
