I felt the same way on the last two posts:

The couple's argument between Gwen and Rhys was very realistic, and very well done.

Everyone on Earth, and most especially London, knows there is a very real alien threat, and no one should be surprised at much of anything involving aliens anymore.

Rhys said he thought those instances were hoaxes, perpetuated by terrorists who put chemicals in the water, among other things. But that was back in the early part of the first run of Torchwood. I don't know what he thinks now.

And time was reset so that only a few people remember seeing the American president turned to dust.

If you'll remember, time on the Valient reset to just AFTER the president was vaporized, not before.
