Put in ideas for good villains, cults, secrets, whatever for Call of Cthulu on this thread. Don't read too many at once - You'll lose it.

To start us off, here's a real twisted one.

The characters must stop a brilliant but deeply disturbed young male high school student Cult Sorceror who worships Shub-Niggurath from using his entire neighborhood as sacrifices. A shocking rise in teen pregnancy, combined with news of some noteworthy birth defects, should be enough to bring this mad youth to the awareness of the investigators. But who would suspect the innocent youth? Save hundreds of innocents from the lustful predations of Shub-Niggurath before it's too late.

It's got that creepy sexual vibe that worked so well in the 'heroin adventure' in The Stars Are Right. As a GM, I'm intrigued.. as a relatively normal person, I'm a little uncomfortable .

My threat:
[Location: Western coast of North America]

A friend of the investigator comes back from vacation with a wild tale. While hiking along the Pacific Coast, he found a strange body washed up on shore. It freaked him out and he quickly left the area, but before he did he took some pictures. Before he can show them to the investigator, he goes crazy, kills his family (with strange clues being available from the coroner) and disappears. The investigator(s) must locate him before the authorities do and examine the photographs to determine what happened. Unbeknownst to the investigators, while hiking their friend was happened upon by a small group of Insects from Shaggai. One incubated in his brain and when it hatched, used its host to kill the family. It will try to get the investigators to take it back to the 'scene of the crime' where its companions wait.
