Throw opponent into a fire... how?

Legildur had it right, it's clearly written in the 3.5 SRD. Now if you have enough trolls and ogres, forget about that part with the -20 and have each big one grapple one of your heros.

Darklone, can you expand on this please? I didn't have all the time and references available, but my idea for using the -20 penalty was to prevent the troll/ogre from having to enter the opponent's square so that they didn't have to enter the fire as well. Was I correct in this assumption? I can't recall what size differentials (or is it Improved Grab?) that allows you to stay in a separate square to your opponent.

IIRC, if you are larger or so, you can grapple with only a part of your body ... at -20, but then you're not considered grappled. Check the Improved Grab description in the MM.

Well, first you would grapple and pin your opponent. Then, if you had sufficient strength, you would hurl him as if he was an object. I'm sure there's a page somewhere for determining distance hurled by mass and strength of hurler.

Since giants often do such things for fun (Go for distance! Go for distance!), a scoring system has been included to help you score the quality of a throw:
Example: A giant hurls a halfling 20 meters through the air (+40), ... and burns to death(+50) for a total of 170 points.
.
As always your post a not helpfull at all but hilarious to read.
Go on with it enlightening the forum.

@original question :
everything is said and done.
