Sounds to me like time for a Guinness.

so far I haven't met a Brit yet who wouldn't drink beer ... even cheep [cheap even!] beer (I can't count how many 5$ pitchers of Red Dog were downed ... it was like a moral obligation of some sort)

Having my car broken into last night didn't exactly help matters. I was in a pretty sociopathic mood all day!

Still, gotten repairs done, and nothing was stolen. It looks OK from a distance, as long as you don't peer too closely!

Look at the bright side...at least it wasn't stolen like my car was last week. It's been a week so there's like no chance at this point of ever getting it back, and of course we didn't have theft insurance (never expected anyone to steal a 20 year old stationwagon).
