Weapon Finesse is the designers way of making a character pay more for using Dex to hit, an attempt at keeping the stats ballanced. It is a good feat but there is no way it deserves to be in this rarified company, the only reason it has lasted this long is because it has been sitting in the corner the last few rounds while the big boys fought.
