Though not fantasy, I've always enjoyed Time Master.

It used to be suported by the RPGA and I played it at GenCon back in '93.
Time Master is a GREAT game. It is loosely based on Poul Anderson's Time Patrol series of books (which the movie TimeCop was also based upon).

Unfortunately so much research needs to be done to write a module for it that it is hard to put a game together. Still, I'm currently working an angle similar to that for my weekly gaming group. Basically TimeMaster meets D&D.

I have played Time And Time Again, and enjoyed Morrow Project), but my overall favorite time travel RPG is TimeLords by BTRC. The combat is fairly realistic and the theory behind time travel and paradoxes is fairly logical. Finally, the game has a fairly good system for determining the stats of the players. The basic game is designed primarily to translate the players into PCs and send them through time and space. This allows the players to make decisions based on what they think they would actually do. Of course, there are rules for a Time Police campaign, among others, but I most enjoyed creating myself and my players and seeing what happens.

Nice reviews, Crothian. From reading them, it sounds like Temporality mighr be something I'd be interested in. (However, I'm not much for PDFs.)

In your review it says the following... "There is a lot of information packed into this one and sixty page PDF."

It that suppose to say One hundred and sixty page PDF, or is it a 60 page book? I'm hoping it's 160 pages. That way, they might put it out as a print book, eventually.

Cheers!

He definitely meant 160 pages. It's a big book and there will be a print version. I've been told that Temporality will officially be available in September but there will be copies at GenCon (presumably for sale).

If you have any questions about the contents, feel free to post them here or email me (dmbretb (at) comcast (dot) net).
