Timezones in D&D

Though the issue of time zones and world rotation does bring up one of my favorite homebrew campaign world ideas.


The egyptian pyramids and the aztec are on the same EXACT lattitude. Players can "teleport" between them...but the players don't actually move...

...they phase out of existence until the world rotates the other pyramids into place.


So the teleport, while appearing instantaneous, takes several hours...and they arrive at the same apparent time.

No jet lag for them!
