To Publishers: Adventure Paths?

I'm working on the Argonautica, which is the RPG Adventure based on Jason and the Argonauts. It's designed to take adventurers from 5th to 15+ levels.

Greetings,

I am one of the authors for the Cult of Yex adventure path campaign, which will be published by Troll Lord Games, in December. Just a shameless plug here. Feedback and comments appreciated.

The Cult of Yex is a full campaign of eight full modules designed to advance a party from first to 20th level. It will be released as a single large hardcover campaign sourcebook.

My co-author and I have been storyboarding the plot for over 3 1/2 years, and have designed each module with its own "standalone" story arc, that fits into the full campaign story arc. The modules are designed to be played in order for maximum enjoyment in a truly epic campaign, but each module stands on its own, and is easily played as a standalone, without any connection to the campaign story arc.

We hope that the Cult of Yex Campaign sourcebook will be a great value with the eight modules, detailed city settings, new monsters, spells, magic items and the like. It is designed to be dropped into any campaing setting with minimal trouble. Six of the modules have extra-planar components, with two of them taking place almost entirely on the Astral Plane, and the final module taking place almost entirely on the Abyss, with the party having to choose the lesser of two evils in a demon war.

I am starting a new publishing company, Pencil Pushers Publishing. We intend to publish a series of interconnected but not interlocked modules. The modules will hearken back to the days of the initial adventures that took place with giants, funny elves, and slave lords. Each adventure will stand by itself but will also be connected to the prior adventures.

The first module should be ready in late May and is part of The Last Dominion Line, the first title is The Night of Fire.

I am working on about 20 projects right now but I hope to have a synopsis soon to post to our brand spanking new website.

This one really looks good. With all the mega-material coming from TLG this year (Hall of Many Panes, Castle Zagyg, and Cult of Yex) my wallet may be strained a bit :)

Considering the initial responcce tothis module, its exansive nature and the fact I like it so much, we here at TLGwill workcloselyin conjunction with the authors to start providing more information on this product sooner than I had planned.

As if I did not have enough on my plate! But I Must confer with Parker.

I am actually anticipating the Cult of Yex now... looks quite good. Will the maps be a pull out booklet like Return to Elemental Evil?

I really like mega-adventures, but I prefer to run the smaller ones, the need to know information is a lot less overwhelming and the prep time is much shorter. Looks like Cult of Yex will fill both bills as a mega-module AND a series of shorter modules all in one. Definitely put forth the INFO!!!

Thanks to all the publishers who replied as well. Looks like we have some promising material in the works.

Right now the plan is to have a large hardback with and insert folder containing the maps. Because the Cult of Yex is set up as 8 adventures that can be run individually it should fit your needs perfectly. Clayton Bunce will be doing the maps ( http://www.morningstarillustration.com/ ) and the cover by Rick Sardinha Rick Sardhina
