However, the series RAS is currently writing for Del Ray books, The Demon Wars is FAR better than any of his Drizzt books (with one exception). There are some obvious elements that he borrowed from himself for the world of Corona but the writing is character driven (very little combat) and well paced.

Issue 134 of Wizardmentions that Crossgen Comics will be making a comic based on the Demon Wars series that will focus on Andacanavar's early years. It supposed to start in December and will be six issues.

Cool, thanks for the tip. Did they mention if Salvatore will be writing it? I'd check but I don't read Wizard anymore.

First to clarify, it will be a serise of books with each story arc being six issues and a separate mini-series, with each arc collected into a trade.

Scott Ciencin will be scripting and Ron Wagner will pencil the first arc. They don't say specifically but it seems that RAS will be plotting. In a quote at the end RAS says he wants to learn more about how the process works so he can write on by himself.

I have a sub and sometimes wonder why I bothered. It was mostly for the 1/2 offers though.
On another comic related not Dreamwave (the new Transformers comics), is "reportedly in negotiations with Habro to produce comics based on its Dungeons and Dragons and Magic: the Gathering role-playing franchises."

Sounds interesting. I haven't really read comics in about a year so I'd be interested in a trade PB.

Hmmm, interesting again. Pat Lee and Co did well with Transformers....
