ToC CR 7 Finals - CN vs. CE: Juvenile Fang Dragon vs. Dust Wight

“Our second semifinal match features the best of the Chaotic Neutral forces against the best of the Neutral Evil forces.”

“Making his way to the eastern side of the arena, this combatant measures 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs 500 pounds. His kind has a combined record of one win, zero losses, and one draw. Representing the forces of Chaotic Neutral, please welcome the nimblewright Lorrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!”

Lor is a nondescript, steel-colored, mechanical human. As he takes his position in the arena, two rapiers extend from his forearms. He stands motionless as a glowing, chaotic field of multicolored hues appears around him.

“Now making his way into southern side of the arena, this combatant measures 20 feet long and weighs 6500 pounds. He has a record of one win, one loss, and zero draws. Representing the forces of Neutral Evil, please welcome the uobilyth Flyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy Fiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiish!

The raucous cheers of the Neutral Evil faction greet Fly Fish as he floats into the arena. Fly Fish looks like a huge, primeval fish, with a bulbous head and a crescent-shaped tail. Three slit-shaped eyes, protected by bony ridges, are set one atop the other in front of its head. Four tentacles extend from its body, which has a pink belly and four pulsating blue-black orifices along its bottom, secreting a gray slime that smells like rancid grease.

Psybo communicates telepathically to the two combatants. “Lor, you will have initiative in the first round. Fly Fish, you will choose the starting positions.”

Wow...been awhile...let's see how many rules I can forget in the first 3 rounds...

Let's put Lor at 0n10e and FF at 85n105e.

Not sure of movement rates - FF will glide ponderously to 90n55e10z.

Edit: hopefully no one looked, just changed end point from over water to in the VZ.

Lor trots over to 85n50e, jumps up the 5ft to slice 'n dice FF, and then continues the spring attack to 105n50e.

[sblock] that should be enough for the 20ft "run" for an automatic jump check of DC 20 [/sblock]

Lor pierces Fly Fish's underbelly with his rapier-hand (rolled 17+1).

Fly Fish takes 11 and has 65 hp left.

FF's response is two tentacle hits (highest missing roll 22+1, lowest hitting roll 31+1).

Lor takes 23 total damage and has 52 hp left. He seems to be immune to any other effects the tentacles may cause.

Round 3!
