"Too much anime" or, "Yet another catfolk race"

I really don't see how this race is over-powered. More like the opposite, actually. How about giving Charisma +2 or dropping the Wisdom -2? I think it would be more balanced that way. (Ok, movement is good for some character types, but so is HPs for others )

You are missing the base speed of 40 feet. Can see the cat-girl barbarians already...

I'm starting an OE campaign tommorow, and my players asked me to create the basics of the characters to save time.
I'm curious to see how the players will roleplay a party with a Catgirl and a Rat-person (Nezumi?).

Any ideas on what their relationship should be? Openly hostile, distrustful, neutral or ironicly friendly?

Interesting...but there are 2 things that bother me, both very minor though, are the name and that they're only females. Either way, I like it!

Sixchan, I'd say neutral. While I don't see the catgirl messily slaying and devouring the nezumi in the way of a quadruped feline, I am getting this mental image of her constantly annoying the nezumi by referring to him as food, and so on...

Kidd, I made them all females because there is a definite shortage of male catpeople in anime. It's a cliché of sorts. The only one I can recall seeing was Lord Dilandau's manservant/bodyguard from Vision of Escaflowne, and he was more sort of a lion man.

Oh, and you're absolutely right... There can't be too much anime... Now, I'm off to watch those twenty episodes of Inu-Yasha...

It seems that when people start making their first races, many choose to do a catfolk, a subrace of a PHB race, or some other humanoid animal hybrid. I think that a rummage through the archives of the WotC Races boards would unearth quite a few more, and I doubt this board lacks them, either.

Catgirls don't live as long as Humans, right? Most Catgirls in Anime I've seen have been/looked like Teenagers or younger, but still independant. And Regular cats live for less time, too.

Just one question, Why does using her claws incur attacks of oppurtunity? Everything else with claws counts as armed.

Umm... Now that you ask, I'm not sure of that myself. I thought I'd lifted it off the nezumi, but now that I looked, they don't provoke an AoO, either. Consider it fixed.
