  • G-Force (Battle of the Planets)

I have all of em on dvd but Japanese version with subtitles, could not even get through 3rd episode and I have 194 of em. The subtitles are horrible.

"What older bird person your shoe eats grass?"

"Go get them mister mean!"

:(
Spent over $100 bucks on that 3-4 box set.

One thing. You might consider it part of Farscape, but Farscape: Peacekeeper Wars (made, like, two years after the series concluded) is my favorite show (excluding Firefly, which destroys everything forever). I think it's actually better than the original.

1. Twilight zone (original series)- lets be honest, where would half of the storylines in modern day sci fi be without it

2 Far Scape- Perfect scifi fantasy show with humor and compelling characters

3. Buffy The Vampire Slayer - best pure writing on network television

4. Stargate

5. Deep Space Nine - The first sci fi show to deal with the realistic aspects of a war in space

6. Angel -

7 Outer LImits (both old and new)

8 Earth 2

9. Adventures of Briscoe County Jr.

10. Sliders- The first few seasons were classic and were going to break the mold. Then the Oconnel left to do great things like that darned Kangroo movie.

Up and Coming - my biggest pet peeve is when someone tells me that the song on the radio is their favorite song ever. IMO< how can it be your favorite song already. What ws your fave before that and do you replace numbers ones so easily all the time. I Love these shows and are some of my fave on tv right now but I'll have to see where they go.

The 4400- Wow, this show is actually original in a time where originallity has left

Lost - the same

Battlstar Gactica

Firefly- With one series it was a great season but too little for me to put it up there with the best

My 3 and 4 arent even on the master list. YIKES.

1. Firefly: No power in the 'verse can top it.
2. Buffy & Angel: Joss Whedon is my master now.
3. Twin Peaks: The best thing on TV before Joss came along.
4. Gargoyles: The greatest show that people never believed was any good, and the best cartoon of all time.
5. Hercules & Xena: Made Saturday nights fun.
6. Justice League Unlimited: True to the source like Batman:TAS, but with the entire DCU
7. V : well, I LOVED the two mini-series, and remember the regular series as being OK, I really have to re-watch these.
8. G.I. Joe: um, action fantasy? Its some sort of fantasy. :D
9. Transformers: transform, and roll out.
10. Friday the 13th The Series: Another show that people will not believe is good.

Honorable mentions: D&D cartoon, Tick, Freakazoid (the last two are all-comedy so they get pushed down) , Scooby Doo, DS9 (the best of the Treks)

Non scifi/fantasy shows: Veronica Mars , Lost (at least, not so far, (and I probably wouldn't put it up there), Animaniacs, Family Guy

On my "to watch" list: BSG (just watched the pilot) , Farscape, Babylon 5, Red Dwarf, 4400

Vaguely remember as good, need to re-watch: Earth 2, Brisco County

Top 10:

1. Babylon 5
2. Buffy the Vampire Slayer
3. Firefly
4. Stargate SG-1
5. Farscape
6. Star Trek: Deep Space 9
7. Red Dwarf
8. Robotech
9. Star Blazers
10. Star Trek: The Next Generation

Time travel shows I used to watch included Voyagers and Time Trax. When I was a kid, I used to watch Buck Rogers, though now I just shake my head at the thought. Sliders was pretty cool in the first couple of seasons. I still like Alias, though that is more Spy-fi.

My top ten in no particular order:

Greatest American Hero
V: the Series
X - Files
Adventures of Brisco County Jr
Buffy the Vampire Slayer
Incredible Hulk
Knight Rider
Robin of Sherwood
Lost
Thundarr the Barbarian

My top 10, using only shows shown on North American television:

1) Robotech
2) Stargate SG-1
3) Firefly

And much, much further down:
4) Battlestar Galactica
5) Star Trek: DS9
6) Star Trek: TOS
7) Star Trek: TNG
8) The X-Files
9) Smallville
10) Transformers

I was never a Buffy fan, and I never had a chance to watch much of Babylon 5. :(
