touch and ranged touch attacks

What are the attack roll modifiers for these? Only reference I can find is "make attack as normal". Does this mean weapon and strength bonuses are added? Size also? Or is it just BAB?

A touch attack is just like a regular attack. The difference is that some of the target's AC modifiers don't apply (armour and natural armour), so it's usually easier to hit them.

A touch attack is naturally considered a light weapon, and so you can take the feat Weapon Finesse with touch attacks, so that you can use your dexterity modifier instead of strength modifier.

I'd also like to add that the opponent gains no benefit from armor, natural armor and any shield versus touch attacks.

This is true but superfluous, since a shield grants an armour bonus.

True, true, but I've seen people think that shields count too many times, so I thought it best to mention it.

I did not think you had forgotten, I just wanted to point it out. ;)

Why not just use an actual light weapon and take Weapon Finesse with it, then use this weapon to deliver the touch attack ... at the very least it will be masterwork, so you'll also get a bonus on the attack roll.

Because you can't deliver a touch attack with a weapon.

If you cast a touch attack spell, it is discharged when you touch the weapon with that hand.
