Touch of Golden Ice

What exactly does Golden Ice do? I heard someone talking about it, but I do not have access right now to see what it does (work blocks almost every good site, all but this one).

IDHTBRIFOM, but I believe it inflicts a ravage (basically, a divine poison) on anyone you hit with an unarmed strike. The DC is pretty low, but saves always fail on a 1, so it will always be a factor.

IMO, ravages are pretty cheesy, and this feat has the potential to slow the game down a lot.

I think it's fairly strong myself. It inflicts (1d6+the targets charisma mod) dexterity damage with 2d6 secondary dexterity damage to anything evil you touch. The save DC is only 14 but as Deset mentioned, things will fail on 1's anyhow.

I feel that the whole holy poison ravage thing is a bit cheesy myself. Maybe not in the overpowerered sense, but it just doesn't feel right to me.

I hate this feat on so many levels.

1: It's overpowered for monks and druids. Free unlimited poison!
2: Oh, sorry, it's a "ravage" which is just like a poison that only works on evil things. BAH! Because poisons are evil. Isn't that right, Mr. Lawful Good Coatl and Chaotic Good Pseudodragon?

Thats why it was going to be taken, its for a Vow of Poverty Monk. I tell you, that is a crazy combo. I heard it was, but never understood until now. Can you trigger the effect during Flurry of Blows? Also is there a limit to the amount of times you can use Golden Ice per day?

Nope.

Which is exactly why it's crazy broken.
