D&D 5E Toxicity in the Fandom

Oh that reminds me of a newspaper headline I read a few years ago. "Woman climbs Mount Everest to prove Vegans can do anything; Dies."

If I had a nickel every time I heard " but you eat chicken, right?" "No?, Ok so you must eat fish then?' I'd be rich. 🙂

Oof. I've gone vegetarian for period of time. I've gone pescetarian as well (which, I mean .... c'mon ... do we really need to pat ourselves on the back and come up with a word because we're eating yummy seafood?).

But I've never been able to go full vegan. If nothing else, I like love dairy products. So mad props to those who do it!

Only the ones that are pretentious about it. If you know someone who just happens to be vegan, and doesn't proselytize about it, that's cool. Or maybe if they preach a little, smile and nod.

But if you know people who proclaim "oh, we're vegans!" in a superior tone? Run, don't walk, far, far away.
I've never met a vegan who wasn't superior about it, actually.

What I find amusing (and, unfortunately, something that usually compels me to respond in a snarky fashion) are those in forum discussions who present themselves as morally superior for their stance on something, yet clearly demonstrate the same behavior that they are condemning.

An important thing to remember: Every dead body on Everest was once a highly motivated individual.
Its just an ironic headline formed to imply Vegans cant do everything.

See? It's more fun and interesting to mock highly motivated people instead.
Right, im not sure if the article was just stating facts or was actively mocking. Probably both, but leaving enough deniability.
