Transformers One 2024

I was kind of a twisted child and didn't suffer any sort of trauma related to the death of Prime or the death of Artax the horse in The Never Ending Story. Not that I realized it at the time, this was just a cynical ploy on the part of Hasbro to get kids to buy the new generation of Transformers toys because the olds ones had or were ceasing production. I didn't actually Transformers the Movie until 1987, and by then I was losing interest in Transformers, GI Joe, and all the other toys I used to play with. It was the last Christmas I received any GI Joe toys, and I got a few good ones. I don't think I got any Transformers toys in 1987. I didn't care about any of them by then.
Im guessing you dont look at explosions either?

It looks good in many ways and I will certainly watch it given the chance (at least at some point) but for the love of God whoever purports to make an origin story for Transformers that makes Bumblebee contemporaries with Optimus and Megatron has just got it wrong. Also I am pretty sure that Megatron was always one of the military models.

I like the IDW comics that dealt with the origins, this one has some similarities but is not it for me. I was pretty excited when I heard that there was going to be an animated Transformers movie focusing on Cybertron, but am a bit disappointed in the direction. Also not really liking the character designs.

Unless I hear some stellar things will probably skip. Got burned by the Beast Wars live action one, since I liked Beast Wars the animation a lot. The Bumblebee movie was okay, even though I haven't liked how live-action TF portrayed the Bee since the beginning (no not beegining).
