Cool! Good way to tease, without revealing the big surprise....what they'll look like.

I noticed that the main character is going to be named "Sam". Wasn't the kid named "Chip"?

Maybe "Chip" is just too outdated a name now..

Spike Witwicky was Sparkplugs son. And his eventual girlfriend was named Carly. I dont know why they didnt stay with those names, but oh well.

Maybe they changed it because theyre worried about being sued by Spike Lee?

Did you not see that Michael Bay is going to direct? That automatically means it will SUCK, despite numerous explosions meant to distract you from how talentless the whole thing is.

The man has made one bad movie. The rest were all summer popcorn flicks and delivered the goods on many accounts. So, I'm gonna just disagree with you. Over the top is what he does best and this is perfect for his talents.

Chip Chase (The guy in glasses with the wheelchair) was their brainy friend who showed up now and then in the cartoon.

I'm old enough that I missed the Transformers craze, so I had no real interest in the movie. After seeing the trailer, that's changed; I thought it was really, really good.
