Traps and Hazards Tools/Material

Just wondering if anyone out there has anything on traps and hazards. Tools and or materials that have been published in a nice little pdf or online application of some sort. Does anyone have any knowledge of any kind of database that you can plug into your 4E games?

Thanks,
Trav

In a nutshell, no. The only resource I've used so far is the DDI Compendium, and it's not that great for traps and hazards, frankly. I end up relying on my own creativity when it comes to traps.

This is an area where I think there could be a lot more 4e support, and I wish there were.

Same here, but I'm not that good at creating my own traps/hazards. I was curious if there were any random trap/hazard generators or compiled stat-blocks in a PDF format out there someone has put together. I'm currently searching Google right now to see if I can find something to answer my own question and if I come across what I'm looking for I'll be sure to post it here.

I would totally buy a book of all traps and hazards similar to a Monster Manual; I've been pining for one since 4e's release.

It would need lots of notes on how to use each trap- a trap that pushes you works well with other environmental hazards such as a pool of lava or a giant spider's web, etc.

Yep a book, pdf, or generator with all the stats on every trap available out there. I think personally that WOTC should include something like that in their DDI subscription and the adventure tools, what good are adventures w/ only monsters but no traps or hazards?

Grimtooth's traps (remember dying to those? :)) are apparently still available here:

Catalyst

All are temporarily out of print except "Traps Too" but the site mentions a hardcover compilation that will be available soon.

Interesting, thanks for the link moxcamel! Perhaps I'll have to take it upon myself and maybe recruit the help of enworlders to compile a vast list of traps they've done and what's available out there and put it into a pdf list for free to everyone else would like to use them.

The more I think about it, the more I like the idea of putting something together if enough people would be willing to help find or develop traps and/or hazards.

So how much interest is out there for a project like this to take place?
