Travel Devotion

Hypersmurf

Huh... I just noticed how nice a one-level cleric dip for the Travel Devotion feat (Complete Champion) could be for a Scout... once per day, for one minute, activate the ability to move your speed as a swift action.

Full Attack Skirmish damage for one encounter per day...

You don't need to dip to get the Devotion feats. They have no pre-requisites.

Ah! I misread the "Clerics and Domain feats" subsection, thinking those were the only people who could take the feats.

Even nicer...!

There are several really nice devotion feats especially since they scale with your character level. One of my favorites is (IIRC) the animal domain one:
it allows you to fly - there aren't many ways to get this at first level!

Dipping into the cleric class can still be worthwhile since you can expend turn undead attempts to get more uses per day.

Of course they're even nicer for npcs - 1/day is almost identical to 1/encounter ;)
