Travel domain/freedom of movement and slow.

Travel domain and freedom of movement allow you to act normally when you're impeeded. Would the slow spell count for that? I tend to think it's for things like swinging swords underwater, web spells, hold person.

Yet slow impeeds your movement as well by giving you only partial actions.

Dang, I lent out my PHB and the SRD doesn't make any mention of slow. Why do they edit spells like that?

So a PC with the travel domain would be unaffected by slow for x rounds, but slow could still dispel haste right?

I have found that you should always check the actual books. The SRD is useful, but does not contain everything. It also is differant in some few instances. For example, the PH lists the charge action as a special standard action, while the SRD has it as a full attack action. The results are the same, but the actions types are differant.

At any rate, you are correct that the Travel domain's power will protect from slow for x number of rounds. Slow would still counter haste, however.

SRD is all I have at work. They probably wouldn't appreciate me bringing in my gaming bag.

And a player new to D&D (hasn't played in 10yrs anyways) is borrowing my PHB.

SRD is good, but it just is not a reprint of the core D&D books. It has to be somewhat "generic" so people can use the rules for other genres of games. You can use it, just double check the books whenever you get a chance. Or post here. :D
