Trimountaine Defenders

Adam:
"Down Deep" is an expensive diving unit. Give me a second to access more than that...

Question for GM: How much more can Adam discover about Down Deep?

I did read the Baron's email, and would then scroll back through any of the previous emails from Jackson Daniels. Also, I am interested in where Jackson Daniels is exactly.

And, as the Professor's financial expert, I'd also look into what it would take to invest in this project...

About down deep -- would you break into secure databases (like internal rev. service) to find out more info?

If not, this is what you found so far:
It seems that the team used to cave dive as a hobby before they started to do this professionally. They helped a friend salvage their sunken boat, and others saw their work and hired them. After a few years of salvage jobs, a museum hired them for an exploratary mission of a part of a lake. That started their sideline of hired relic finders. They do ocean, deap ocean, lakes and cave dives.

About investing: It depends on if any of the initial investers decided against adding more money. If they do, you will have a chance to jump in. (but, with the latest find, chances are low.)

Meanwhile...

While waiting for Adam's reply, the Baron closes his eyes and takes a few deep breaths.

Beads of sweat begin to form on his brow, and after a minute his eyes fly open and he begins an incantation:

In the name of Loki, the smith of lies,
remove the scales from before my eyes.
my senses will be,
across the sea,
where the temple I seek lies.

Yes. I would break into any secure database that I have a reasonable chance of penetrating.

Including, perhaps, the Down Deep database itself - if I can find it.

But, here are the specific things I am interested in, in order of priority:
  1. Where are they currently working?
  2. Who's been their customers?
  3. How expensive are they?
  4. Who are their shareholders?
  5. What kind of relics have they gotten?

To everyone who is observing the Baron:
He looks like he is staring out into space.

To Baron:
You feel yourself being pulled upward. The pull gets stronger and stronger until you feel yourself moving. You fly up, through the ceiling, over the castle, over the city, country and planet. You seem to hover for a second before you plunge down again. You are moving too fast to see a lot of details, but you could see the ocean and snow covered land.

You fall down further and further until you recognize the land from the overhead-view picture. But, your magic sense sees one more detail that was not in the pictures -- a glowing hemisphere that covers the area. Your senses slam into the hemisphere and stop. It seems you can not go through it.

Is there anything I can learn about the barrier itself? I'd like to investigate it, and try to determine exactly what it is and how it functions.

After you look around it a while, you feel you have a better sense of the barrier. The barrier seems to be a hemisphere. You have noticed a total of 19 white stone posts that are bordering the barrier. You did notice a couple of posts (that were more exposed to the weather) that looked cracked and severely damaged. The barrier near the broken posts feel more like plastic wrap and less like the solid wall that you first encountered.

Well, I'll try to force my way through the barrier where it's weakest. ;)

The esp is taking longer than I would like, so it's going offline. I'll put up a summary when it's done. So...after all this wait:

2:26 pm, Adam notices a silent alarm at the First National Bank of Trimountaine.

A loud alarm goes off in the base:

WHOOP WHOOP WHOOOOP!

And Adam announces in his Police Dispatcher voice:
A silent alarm has been triggered at the First National Bank of Trimountaine! Avengers assemble!
Adam will begin to moniter the police band and the media's live feeds for more info. He'll also try to tap into the security cameras in the bank to try to get a feel for what's going on in there.

Phineas will sprint for the zeppellin. On the way he'll grab his gun and the jet pack (if they aren't already stored on the zeppellin). His other gear is already on him.

I presume that Sheng usually rides in the zeppellin while the Count might fly there on his own.
