Cornetto trilogy, since they're not actually sequels. I might sub out either Paul or Scott Pilgrim for The World's End as it's my least favourite of the three, but Shaun of the Dead is a classic romzomcom, and Hot Fuzz is a cinematic masterpiece.
It's great fun to watch for the scenes that were repeated in all three films and I have done this watch.

A trio of films from director Alex Cox based on stories from real life, two from the mid/late 80’s and one from 2017:
  • Sid and Nancy
  • Walker
  • Tombstone Rashomon

You could do Paul Thomas Anderson eras triple features.

Late 90's/Early Aughts;
Boogie Nights
Magnolia
Punch Drunk Love

2010's
The Master
Inherent Vice
Phantom Thread.

Tarantino knock-offs:
  • Go
  • Romeo is Bleeding
  • Bad Times at the El Royale
Romeo is Bleeding is the weakest of these. I would substitute in 2 Days in the Valley, which is Charlize Theron's debut role, as I recall, but the studio-mandated changes to the ending weakens it considerably and, as I recall, pushes it into problematic territory.
