Thanks Rechan for directing me here.
So far I have found the trolls less of a worry than I thought they would be, as the party came prepared with alchemical fire (and a magical fire dagger).
I did feel the warren needed more variety, so I have swapped several 'warren trolls' with up to 6 other types from various sources.
Have just done the same with the trogs too. I am also swapping the grimlocks with blackspaw raiders. Grimplocks not in current setting.
Although our group is slow, I have enjoyed the battles so far. Still trying to remind myself to use the environment in some of these fights.
The vinespeaker was easily dispatched in our game. Bear didn't attack for some time and with the skulls I gave the PCs extra chances to hit on them, such as when flying they would lose altitude when hit or even fall to the floor on a crit or when bloodied. Tried to picture what would actually happen to them as they get 'wounded'.
Happy to write how each enc goes if there are still DMs out there running this.
