True Seeing and darkvision

If a character has darkvision 60' and true seeing 120', can the character use true seeing out to his sight at 60' or does the true seeing extend the sight to 120'?

True Seeing grants one the ability to see "through normal and magical darkness" so it makes Darkvision entirely redundant. So your character with True Seeing can see everything as it truly is out to a distance of 120-ft.; which is better than darkvision because you can also see in color.
