Some questions were asked of me, I should answer them, but I will not- it would be unfair to not answer all of them and my time is limited.

If you adopt that submissive posture around any verbally assertive person, they will see your weakness and exploit it for another joke.

Stand up to your problems; if you do not ... no one else will.

Believe it or not, your friend may be trying to teach you a lesson.

Be a good student and show "him" who's boss with a witty comeback.

I recommend watching the special edition DvD of Fiddler on the Roof, and looking at Norma Crane's (Golde's) performance for tips on sarcasm.

Should he not stop then I will discontinue my sessions with them and discontinue contact with him. I will not ask the others to chose between us as I feel that would be unfair. I will explain why I am leaving to them all. Most of them are friends so we will stay in touch.

Good point; if this guy is a boob, he should be ejected and the others will help you. If he's not really a bad guy, you should work things out.

If, however, it is truly a matter of having thin skin ... then you will not be able to work it out until you toughen up.

Only you know what to do. Use your inner strength ... or, if that fails, just think of Topol dancing on a barn rafter and run for your life.
