Hmmm.

Last year, I got two miniature statues of great men, to use as book ends.

This year, I get a statue of a naked, anorexic midget holding a fish.

You know, I can't help but feel not as happy this year :)

With LoTR: FoTR extended edition, some of the things on DVD's 3 and 4 would not play right on my DVD player for some reason, but they played on my computer. I hope this is fixed for TTT. I wonder if it will have a free ticket to RoTK.

ROFLMAO!!!!!!
Ohh dear lord, i laughed so hard when I saw this my roomates had to come see what I was reading. Dear lord thats the most interesting descpretion of Gollum I've ever heard.

I was really hoping to get another set of bookends with this one, the Two Towers themselves: Orthanc and Barad-dur. This seemed a natural choice to me. I wonder why they didn't do this.

An before anyone "corrects" me I know that in the books the Two Towers were Orthanc and Minas Morgul but in the previews for TTT it was obvious that for the movie they were Orthanc and Barad-dur.

Don't get me wrong, I'm still going to get this as soon as I can. I'll probably get it from DeepdiscountDVD.com which is where I got my FotR gift set.

Actually, you get a statue of a naked anorexic midget holding a fish as he's taking a dump. That's why he's looking around to see if anyone is watching :)

Actually, there's a part in the books that states that the Two Towers in reference ARE Barad-dur and Orthanc.
