Here's the Monday Blues #18 map. This week's map is the ground level of a temple complex. Click to enlarge.



Map Details:
  • Grid Size: 36x46 10' Squares (72 dpi); VTT Size: 1229x1578
  • Areas 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, and 21 c) have raised platforms/daises.
  • Areas 1, 4, 7 c), 7 d), 7 e), 21 c), and in the corridor just north of area 21 c) have statues. The statues at area 4 are in raised alcoves.
  • Areas 1, 7 a), and 21 a) have pillars. The pillars at area 7 a) hold up a roof over the colonnade.
  • Area 7 b) is a garden that is open to the elements.
  • Areas 7 c) is a fountain/pool with a statue at its centre.
  • Areas 18 and 24 have stairs leading up.
  • Areas 20 and 22 have stairs that lead down.
  • Area 21 a) has tapestries.
  • Area 21 b) is a secret, hidden cubbyhole in the wall.
  • Area 21 c) has an altar.

Here is the May 27th, 2022 Friday Freebie map. I'm continuing with the theme of multiple levels in large rooms. Click to enlarge.







Map Details:
  • Grid Size: 36x46 10' Squares (72 dpi); VTT Size: 1229x1578
  • Area 1 is a huge chamber that is as deep as it is wide. Area 1 a) is at the highest elevation (some 60 ft. above the floor of area 1 c).
  • Areas 1 b), 1 e), and 1 f) are at the same elevation (30 ft. above the floor level).
  • Area d) is a large central column. Sixty feet in the air (at the same elevation as area 1 a) are four alcoves, each with its own statue.
  • Areas 1 b), 1 d) (see above), 16, 28, 29 b), and 37 b) have statues.
  • Areas 7 b), 10 b), 27 a), and 33 have open pits/wells.
  • Areas 8, 13 a), 20, 23, 33, 38 a), and 39 a) have pillars.
  • Areas 11 and 14 have pools/fountains.
  • Areas 13 b), 13 c), 13 e), and 28 have covered pit traps.
  • Area 13 d) has a falling block trap.
  • Area 15 is split into two elevations (the lower room and the upper niche). A ladder allows access between the two elevations.
  • Areas 19 and 31 have tapestries.
  • Areas 37 b) and 38 b) have daises/raised platforms.
  • Area 38 b) has an altar.
  • Area 39 b) has a large open pit surrounded with esoteric runes carved into the stone floor. The runes are ancient.

Map Details:
  • Grid Size: 36x46 10' Squares (72 dpi); VTT Size: 1229x1578
  • The double white lines on the narrow walls represent windows. The thicker outer walls have alcoves that lead to the window (loop).
  • Area 1 is flanked by stairs leading down to ground level. The stairs flanking the barrier between areas 2 and 3 are stairs that lead up to the upper level.
  • Areas 1, 3, 8, and 17 b) have statues.
  • Areas 2, 5, 6, 15 a), and 16 a) have pillars. The pillars at areas 15 a) and 16 a) hold up a roof.
  • Areas 15 b), 16 b), 41, and 42 have parapets and are open to the elements.
  • Areas 19 and 20 have tapestries.
  • Area 25 a) is the colonnade rooftop.
  • Area 25 b) is the garden open to the elements.

  • The courtyard of area 5 has stairs that lead up to the upper level of the walls.
  • The entrances to the keep each have a raised platform.
  • Area 9 has a well.

  • The shaded area is there to allow the rooftop and building levels to stand out better against the lower level open areas. White areas are the current level and the shaded areas are the lower areas/outside.
  • Area 1 a) has a tapestry.
  • Areas 1 b), 1 c), 6, 13 a), and 22 have statues.
  • Areas 9 and 11 have stairs leading up.
  • Areas 5, 18, and 21 are open to the air/outside.
  • Area 22 is the open inner atrium of the temple complex.
