Two feats every rogue must have

A 5ft radius isn't enough?
That's what he gets when investing 1 point of essentia. It's 5 feet per invested essentia, not 5 feet plus 5 feet per invested essentia.

For example?
Divest Essentia, Rend Essentia, Soul Blight, Soulbanned Zone, Soulbleed, Soulmeld Disjunction, Unbind Chakra, Unshape Soulmeld on the spell side.
Drain Incarnum and Steal Incarnum on the Invocation side.
Gloves of Incarnum Theft and Soulvoid Orbs in magic items.
Dissolution Oozes, Incarnum Dragons, Incarnum Wraiths among the monsters.

Right.

For 1d4 rounds.
That is a lot of time for a rogue who just found out that his trick doesn't help him as much as he thought it did.

I'm sure it is a nice feat combination - possibly a must-have for Azurin rogues with a Constitution of 15 - but I don't think I would play an azurin rogue and sacrifice other ability scores for Con just to be able to do that at 12th level.

Or a scroll/wand of the 3rd level spell, Blacklight: 20' radius of total Darkness that you can see through. That grants the same thing without the expenditure of two feats. Sure it's not at will, but by the time you use 50 charges the cost to replace the wand will be a drop in the bucket.

I have obtained what I wanted from you.:D

Now I will show my DM the general consensus on these feats, to show him that he has nothing to worry about.

he'll have less to worry about if you don't waste your time with these feats.

....Or it might show him that correctly phrasing the question begets the answer you seek. :]
