Two Rods Still Make a Right?

Tried to look this up online but couldn't find any answers more recent than 2009 and couldn't find anything anywhere else to clarify. Basically, I want to make sure that my warlock can still dual-wield rods and gain both properties. My particular rod combination is a Rod of Dark Reward and a Rod of Corruption.

Depends on what the properties are. If they involve augments to an attack made, you only get one or the other, as the property says "When you make an attack with this implement"; you're choosing which rod to fire from.

If it's something like "When you teleport, you add 3 extra squares to the distance" then it works simply by virtue of you holding it.

Rod of Dark Reward and Rod of Corruption should work just fine together as they are both properties that don't involve attacks made with the implement.

Only related thing i knew of was this...
QUOTE=cdrcjsn;5147120]From Wizards of the Coast:

"18. Can a Warlock benefit from holding two rods?

Yes, a warlock can gain the properties from two rods but he still can only use one to make an attack."

Found in their FAQ section of the PHB.

However, just remember that errata prevents this from working with a Rod of Reaving.

"Rod of Reaving
Page 240: On the Property line, add “nonminion”
before “target.” This change prevents a character
from combining this item with a rod of corruption to
kill all minions in an encounter."

Do bear in mind certain rods do not work the same as they did in 2009 due to errata. Particularily the comboy ones involving your Curse.

That said, you certainly can double up on rods, and Dual Implement Spellcaster is designed with that strategy in mind.

i'd like to point out that multiple "rod of dark reward" bonuses don't stack, because they're power bonuses, and come from the same source.
So you'll get +1 to your AC at maximum, even when "rod of corruption" property activates.
