Two Weapon Fighting... Two Shield Defense?

Hi. There are several rules for two weapon fighting. I wonder if there are any rules for using two shields at once, without stacking limitations for the shields. I am thinking of giving my Psion shield proficiency and two shields so he can actively defend himself in combat, without spending power points, and I figured it would be an .. interesting .. thing to have the poor guy use two shields rather than one.

Well - As it stands Shiled Bonuses do not Stack - Question is though - Do Psions Suffer form Arcane Spell Failure ? If so then you will want to do with a Mitheral Buckler or Light shiled < No ASF > Or if your willing to take chance - Mitheral Heavy Shield will have a 5% ASF

Nice thing bout Shields though - can get Buckler/Light/Heavy Prof with One Feat.

Nope, no spell failure, so that's not really a problem. I could use only one shield, but two has a certain coolness factor, so I would rather use an extra shield than a "defending" (magical quality) weapon or such (which does pretty much the same thing, except you get a weapon too).

If anything, I'd get two seperate weapons, both with Defending properties.

Funny, I heard this sentence often from guys who were never in that situation. Well... at least they didn't use it anymore after the experience
