I got the javascript dialog system working with the dialogs last night. Taking a nap, then proceeding to the rest of the forum styling.

I like what I see so far. I have no objection to the color scheme...but, then again, that's not really my chief concern, anyway, since all of my ENworld browsing is at home.

You mispelt "diaglo" . . . twice. I always knew he was really a multi-part program/script. Even back when D&D came out, none of us liked the first system as much as he pretends to like it. Were you able to update all of the 3s and 3.5s to 4s and Vancian to Mearlsian?

I just joined this site. Will the rollover in a couple of weeks negatively affect the new account I just made? ie: will I find myself re-registering?

As Kaylee would say "Shiny!" I like it and look forward to it. I'm also not to sure about the orange color scheme but I know there will be different themes available when you can get to it, so I'm not worried.

I do have one question though- Will subscribed threads still work? Or should I start archiving all my favorites? This site is a huge database of awesome and I'd hate to lose my links to the best bits I've chosen.

I like the preview snippet we've seen - very classy and modern. But I'm not digging the coloud scheme at all. Orange is my least favourite colour out of the primary and secondary colour spectrum, and I agree with RangerWickett - we save electricity by having the black background, and it's iconic of ENW. I loves my black background

Redesign looks good. Colors suck.

Black text on white or gray background is good. On shades of orange and yellow? Not so good.

Yeah, I'll put on sunglasses or something. I often tend to read this messageboard late at night with no lights on in the bedroom... so black background with white text works very well for me. Other than that it looks like it will be easier to get around, I like that. Hope your upgrade goes smoothly... nothing sucks more than a bad upgrade.

Nope. We're keeping the actual database, so all data (accounts, threads, posts, etc.) will be unaffected.

I too have to put myself firmly in the camp of "the new colors hurt my eyes".

Looks good but it is bright. Adjusted my screen to relieve the brightness. The site running quicker sounds good. My computer is not as up to date as it ought to be and I find myself with many times of sitting around as basic stuff loads up.
