thi is confusing me, for the isle of woe game saturday 12pm it is me, polibrun, miho, beholderburger and 2 others from our d&d group. is the dm zander?

For the IoW game, it'll be yourself, beholderburger, poilbrun, miho, a couple of other of beholderburger's friends, Simon, Upper_Krust and me - if Raven let us have that many in one group.

I'm not the DM. The DM will be assigned by Raven.

and for the borderlands game, simon is the dm right?

Right. That will be the EN World game on Saturday at 2.55pm. We'll meet at the main Raven Desk on the upper floor. We'll start playing at 3.00pm at one of the DOG tables. Please check the DOG boards at GenCon as well.

also, for both games, i know i need minis, but can i make my own characters,, or do i have to choose a pregen?

For IoW you have to create your own PC. Characters should be 1st level and use the 28 point-buy system in the DMG. Other details of the rules geneartion system for Living Greyhawk can be found at the link on the previous page of this thread.

btw, i do need a mini for isle of woe, i am a human male barbarian, preferably with a spear, thanx

If you're in my group, I can lend you an unpainted mini. Off the top of my head, I have two human, male barbarians with spears. They both have shields. Is that OK? One is Nordic and the other African (Zulu-like). Which is better?

If anyone else needs a mini for a game that we'll both be in, please let me know.

the character uses a longspear so no shield, but that is a trivial detail, a shield will be fine.

Could I get the one Zander doesn't choose? I'd prefer to play the arabic one, but I'd definitely prefer to play a wizard, so the other one would be great too...

OK poilbrun, I'll put you down as Yasir, and Zander as Ragnar - Ragnar is from the land of Thrinia so he'd have reason to be friendly with Craig's cleric of Tyr, Thrin's patron. Yasir is a bit low on hp (CON 11) so I gave him some good MI to compensate!

I'll be bringing a fair number of figures along, including some generic plastic human, elf and dwarf types, for anyone who brings their own PC but doesn't have a fig. Unlike Zander, I like to paint all my figs - Craig always slags me off but I don't think I'm too bad...

BTW my wife Ingrid did a nice job helping paint up my dwarf wizard for the Isle of Woe - looking forward to using him!

It's a female elven ranger. Studded leather armour, mainly uses her longbow, but is also known to wield a long sword and short sword.

The figure I'm bringing for the pregen PC Misha is human/half-elf female w studded leather & sword, you could use her if desired.

I had the arabic one in mind too! But I'm flexible about that...

I'll put you down for Ragnar - fits with you being a friend of Craig's, Ragnar & Sven would be natural allies.

For my game (Borderlands) you can make your own or choose a pregen from the list above. Sven, Leilah, Yasir & Ragnar have been requested; that leaves Sir Tylion, Misha & Nympha. Rem it's 4th level - see my post above.

Sounds like I'll have a choice of minatures to use I'll just pick one on the day if that's ok with you. I won't mind if she's not exact, doesn't bother me.
