Umbragia is gone.

If you go to the website of Jagged Edge Games ( http://www.jegames.com/ ), all it says is "The experiment dies".

:(

The races of JEG's Umbragia: Realms of Shadow were the best I've seen for 3.X D&D. There were no tired old elves, dwarves, halflings, gnomes, or half-this or that.

Instead, you had 16 unique races (besides humans), including the pitiable Elgarph, the dangerous and emotionless Izhan, the serpentine Khutai, the ancient and wise Nathas, the doomed Shadahs, and the insectoid Xxyxx.

I am saddened that the imaginative world of Umbragia with its great potential will apparently never be published. I'm glad that I at least printed-out the information while it was available on the internet.

The last I had heard is that the creators of Umbragia were uncertain as to publish Umbragia as:

A. a fantasy d20 setting,
B. a stand-alone OGL game, or
C. a systemless campaign setting book

A statement to this effect was on their website as recently as last month. Now it's all gone. It looks like their choice was "D. none of the above".
