You can’t pick till second level, so I’ll make a final decision then, but I’m leaning towards not at the moment. I’d really like to see the PHB wizard schools in play. Oddly enough, I’ve only seen them rarely. Everyone always takes Bladesinger.

So... A wizard can only learn spells of a level they can cast according to their leveling chart. But Clerics can memorize any cleric spells they have a slot for. Does that mean that Galahad can prep a lv 4 cleric spell?

Nope. The multiclassing section specifically states you determine spells known/prepared as if you were a single classed character of that level.
