Unearthed Arcana 3rd ed?

I'd like to see a Unearthed Arcana that was full of optional, yet offiical rules and core classes. I've heard many note that the skill focus for a single skill should officialy be changed to +3 (heck, should be +4 since Combat Casting is but that's another story), as well as some more magic items, alternative races with ECLs and other goodies.

(Heck, let's not forget the Dungeoneer and Wilderness Survival Guides eh?)

I remember Unearthed Arcana and the two survival guides. They were great books for their time.

I'm not sure that a rehash is needed considering the number of other parties currently churning out D20 product.

I think every one of the "class" books WotC put out count as the 3e version of Unearthed Arcana. Indeed, every 2e "class" book counted as such.

I wouldn't mind something similar to UA's pole-arm appendix, tho. That still is among the best weapon references I've read.

I'd be in favour of a 3E Unearthed Arcana that contained all the crunchy bits (prestige classes, weapons, races/ECLs, items) from the various splatbooks once 1) Wizards has made a reasonable amount off of the original splatbooks, and 2) they have corrected all errors and clunky spots. It would be nice to have a durable option book like that.

You don't think people would bitch about having to buy stuff twice? :)

I think that was one the greatest "in" jokes in Castle Greyhawk.

Combat Casting only gives +4 to a specific use of Concentration (specifically when casting defensively), not on Concentration in general. It won't help you if you actually do get hit, or if you have to make a Concentration roll due to difficult circumstances.
