Unearthed Arcana semi-officially confirmed

Next thing people will be complaining about 80s nostalgia. "But the Thundercats were awesome." "No dude, trust me, we were just young and stupid."

I can't think of any we haven't already had, so this might be the last one!

Dungeoneer's Survival Guide.

Wilderness Survival Guide.

Greyhawk Adventures.

...he said glancing to his left at the bookcase. :D

Granted, the last one is unlikely, since we're not getting any official Greyhawk material (Boo!), but the other two are still distinct possibilities.

Hopefully, if they redo the Survival Guides, they'll make them actually useful... ;)

Don't forget the Manual of the Planes, Dieties & Demi-Gods, Fiend Folio... I'm sure they'll be at the very least, looking at a re-release of these books corrected. Just like they did with the 1st Ed Dieties when they messed with the gods. Who knows, I more than likely buy those also, like the D&D junkie I am. Sad.

...and that really bites on that Greyhawk issue, but that's a different thread.

Cheers :D

There are new stuff coming out for 3rd

I wouldnt mind some completely new material comming from the pens of wotc r&d.

I think they already supply quite a lot new material.

For example:

Epic-Level Handbook
Ghostwalk
Savage Species
Book of Vile Darkness
Book of Exalted Deeds
The adventure path modules

Okay, everything isn't brand new now, but it isn't a rehash of 2nd ed material either. So for me it qualifies as new.

I'm not sure about the Forgotten Realms stuff, if that is new or rehash. It's new to me though.

I also think/hope that the contents of the Unearhted Arcana will be new, and in that case what does it matter that the title, two words in all, is reused?

Cheers!

It doesn't seem likely to me that they would, but we'll see!

And there are other new books coming out. The Draconomicon for one. With Dragonlance and that, could it be WotC's year of the Dragon?

Nope, none of them has caused my FLGS to burn down. No mad mothers with pitchforks in my driveway. My 2 shelves of D&D goodness hasn't spontaneously faded into the ether.

Some people have all the luck.
