I believe that you mean, "No SRD expected from WotC", don't you? HmmmmmmMMMM? :D

Actually, doesn't Wil work at WotC at the moment or isn't he at least working on a project for them? I think, therefore, his "this won't be in the SRD" actually means that it won't be in the SRD.

And, Wil, stop your drinking and go and chase up that Dire Kobold fellow so he gets your DK Midnight adventure posted ASAP. ;)

Actually, I bet you will see it, but at least not for a year or more.

There would be no reason for them to do it soon, as it would actually compete with a book they are trying to sell. Any game publisher that wants to use the stuff in UA can do so right now, (barring what's been labeled PI) as long as they follow the OGL correctly.

If the book goes out of publication, I bet it might be added to the SRD. Or if they feel that they have gotton to a point that they can release it and have it not effect book sales, then they might consider it, just like they have added the Epic Level Handbook info to the SRD. (and that goes beyond the stuff that was added to the SRD taken from the 3.5 handbooks.)

Long story short, don't expect it soon. You might see some of the material in 3rd party publications sooner.

I would expect to see some discussions here and there (meaning the internet, not nessessarily ENworld) on some people working out how they can recreate some of the material legally in PDF form and the like.

Well it appears that there are at least two other people that have heard and/or listen to Irish music.

I've don Reniassance shows for 24 years. I could go without hearing that one for some time.

Then again, the UA material could be added to the SRD the day the book is released or shortly thereafter...just like WotC did with the DMG, PHB, MM, and d20 Modern.

You haven't been following the OGL lists, naughty boy. :)

(Oh, glad to see TOMB of Horrors II listed on the cover of Game Trade this month :D ).

It won't be put in the SRD by WotC. Making a SRD is a boring and long task, and they won't have to do it since the book will be OGC, so there's no "need" for them to do so.

To the contrary, putting these rules freely on the Internet would reduce the incentive to buy the book -- people would be able to merely download and print the 2 or 3 variants they plan to use, and that's all. By its very nature, UA is not a book you'll use fully.

That said, anyone could make a SRD of it. But I haven't seen SRD versions of other OGC books made by third-parties. There have been a few other SRDs (Anime and Action!), but each time, made by the company that created these systems.

Heh- nope, not lately. Been way too busy in RL to do much reading. I should be able to catch up this weekend though, so then I'll have a clue. :)

Thanks....didnt even know ToH2 was on the cover...that's how behind I am. :D

Won't be in the WotC SRD, you mean.

Are you creating your own SRD. If so, what are you going to call your game system? :D

I have created the Plexus - SRD Revised. If there is a demand for it, there's a damned good chance that I can add in the OGC from Unearthed Arcana at some time in the future. It would be a big project and require a significant price increase but, of course, everyone who has purchased the bundle in the past would receive the updates for free.
